COVID Guidelines

Get Vaccinated

Menghe Wellness is not required to ask for proof of vaccination from patients but we do encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated. All Menghe Wellness staff members are vaccinated and continue to get regular COVID-19 tests.

Menghe Wellness is Taking COVID-19 Seriously.

The health and well-being of the clinic community and the community at large are our #1 priority.  Prior to reopening the clinic (post shelter in place), many new protocols were created to keep staff and patients safe.  New safety guidelines and a cleaning and disinfecting protocol are followed during every shift.  Safety, cleaning and disinfection documents were created using information from the CDC, OSHA, the San Mateo County Department of Public Health and the California Green Business Network.

We've made many structural changes to the clinic in order to keep staff and patients safe.
  • Clinic cleanliness is a top priority. High touch areas will be cleaned and disinfected regularly.

  • A HEPA filter air purifier will be run at all times during our hours of operation.

  • MASKS STILL REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION. Masks must be worn at all times by staff and patients.

This does mean changes for patients too. Please read the following before coming to the clinic.
  • Patients must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after payment and before getting seated in a recliner.

  • Returning patients, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment. New patients, please come 10 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork before your treatment.

  • Do not arrive late for your appointment as it will affect the flow of patients in/out of the space and the clinic’s ability to enforce safe physical distancing. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for their appointment they may be asked to reschedule. If the acupuncturist cannot see a late patient, the patient will be charged a $25 fee for missing their appointment.

  • If you no show for an appointment or late cancel (less than 8 hours notice), please pay the $25 fee. Lost income due to missed appointments is really hard for the clinic, especially because we are still limited by how many patients we can see each shift. Help us out by paying the fee (via Square invoice email) in a timely manner.

  • No drop ins. Book appointments online ahead of time or call us to schedule. We check our voicemail regularly so don’t be shy about leaving us a message.

  • We no longer offer blankets.

  • Payment: Contactless payment is preferred.

  • Health screening: Patients are asked to read over the health screening questionnaire below prior to booking an appointment.
